Louise V.B. Lange-Caldwell FSA Scot; Vizi just turned the big 60 in May.

Born Charlottesville, Virginia in 1956; dual citizenship with Switzerland.

Ancestor of Edward Bruce of Kinloss, Scotland

A descendant of Charles Bruce, a planter of Orange County, Virginia, owner of “Soldiers Rest” on the Rapidan River.

A member of Bruce International since 2005 and life-time member since 2014,

I have set up a tent with the Clans at The Houston Highland Games since 2010 – 2015. The games have not been active since 2015 due to reorganization, Hurricane Harvey in 20017 and other weather problems in 2018. Finally, we have games coming up in September of 2019.

Over the years I have helped worked the Austin Celtic Festival, the Dallas  Celtic Festival and Games and the Salado Games.

Served as V.P. of my home-owners association in 2015.

Member of The Royal Nat’l Trust of Scotland 2003 – current

A Board member of the Saint Andrews Society of Colorado in 1999 – 2001

and a regular member from 1992 – 2001

Married to Sam Caldwell ten years, the Texas State artist 2004, Ducks Unlimited State Artist 2010-2011. Sam was named to the Perry Bass Wall of Fame, Maritime Museum 2016. He was commissioned by Lord Andrew Elgin to provide paintings of King Robert the Bruce, and images of the Third Scots Guard in Normandy during D Day. We have traveled to Scotland on four occasions: the 700th Anniversary Celebration of the Enthronement of Robert Bruce in 2006; The Gathering – Edinburgh and the 250th Anniversary of Robert Burns in 2009 and the 700th Anniversary of Bannockburn in 2014 and the Edinburgh Tattoo August 2017 that honored the Bruce Family.
