Thomas Allen Bruce is a native of Georgia, and a graduate of LaGrange College (BA, 1981)
and of Auburn University (Master of Public Administration) [MPA] 1990.

He served in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve, retiring in 2008 as a Lieutenant
Commander with 26 years service.

He also retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation in 2022 as a Right of Way
Specialist, and since his retirement has worked as a consultant to various governments
about real property acquisition. He also is a real estate broker with his own independent
brokerage.

Allen is married to the former Jennifer Hafer. They reside in Cherokee County, Georgia, and
have two daughters: MacKenzie, who served in the Peace Corps and is now a Coverdell
Scholar at Kennesaw State University, and Charlotte, who is a Freshman at Sequoyah High
School.

Allen enjoys the study of the culture and history of the American Indian, and collecting
American Indian beadwork. He also is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing, shooting,
hiking, and camping. He is a Master Mason, 32 nd degree in the Ancient and Accepted
Scottish Rite, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Beaver, and a member of the Royal
Order of Scotland. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland.

He is President Emeritus of Bruce International, Captain of the USA Chapter of the 40
Bowmen of St. Sebastian, and was appointed Lieutenant to the Chief of the Name of Bruce
in 2003.
