Steve earned a BA degree from Millersville University and an MA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force in military intelligence, rising to the rank of major before retirement in 2023. Between stints in military service, he built a diverse civilian career in retail management, journalism and graphic design. Today, he’s News Director of Eventis Media News Service of Kingsport, Tennessee. He’s been a member of the Family of Bruce since 2019 and previously served as FOBI Pennsylvania Commissioner, prior to relocating to Tennessee in 2024. Steve provides graphic design services to the organization and games hosts. Aside from FOBI, he is a writer and professional photographer, having traveled around the world. In the past, Steve was a Civil War reenactor across the Mid-Atlantic for 15 years. His current passion is long-distance hiking, having finished about half of the Appalachian Trail. His love of nature and adventure is matched only to devotion to his three cats.
