Madeline J Bruce, PhD (Mads) is a proud St. Louisan who still often wishes she were in Scotland. She is an assistant professor and psychologist who specializes in posttraumatic stress disorder. Since visiting Scotland with family in 2018, she has immersed herself in the culture, from being the chair of charitable operations for FOBI, joining the St. Andrews Society of St. Louis, celebrating Burns Suppers, and flipping a couple of cabers. She has a long history of service and working with non-profits in the communities around her. She is currently engaged to a Tyler Thompson of Clan MacGregor descent
